General Description: Bolts are externally threaded fasteners used in industrial and construction applications for assembling two unthreaded products together. In most cases a nut is used with the bolt to complete the bolted joint; occasionally a tapped hole is used instead. The joint is typically completed with the installation of the nut while the bolt remains fixed. Industry Standards for both inch and metric thread styles have been established and are widely recognized, such as ASME B18.2.1 (inch) and ISO 4014 / DIN 931 (metic). As a result most standard bolts are available from stock or with a short lead time.

Many demanding assemblies require higher strength properties. Bolts can be heat treated to accommodate this need. Bolts can range in inch sizes from 1/4-20 through 1-8 (coarse thread) and 1/4-28 through 1-14 (fine thread). Bolts can range in metric sizes from M6-1.0 through M24-3 (coarse thread) and M6-0.75 through M24-1.5 (fine thread).

Carriage Bolts (including Ribbed Neck)

Carriage and Ribbed Neck Bolts feature a square neck for joining wood and metal securely. Ribbed Neck Bolts are also used for joining metal to metal assemblies.

Flange Bolts

These bolts may or may not contain locking serrations on the head. These bolts are commonly used when vibration in the final application is present. Over a generation some of these designs gained acceptance and approval from fastener consumers all around the world.  From among the most proven, successful designs, Fasco offers standard and customer variations of these products:  PT, Delta PT and Duro PT (originated by EJOT), Plastite, Remform (originated by Reminc), Hi-Lo / DST dual spaced thread (originated by ITW Shakeproof).

Shoulder Bolts

Shoulder bolts are a unique design and can be developed to meet your specific applications.

T Bolts

T Bolts are produced to a customers print / specification. These bolts are used in various applications such as clamps, channels, straps, tracks and machinery. The shape of the ‘T’ is at the customer’s discretion.
