to include a comprehensive quality system; hence our
dedication to ISO9001.
Fasco has been an ISO9000 registered supplier since 1994. We are currently registered to ISO9001-2000.
Our staff has expertise in fastener quality assurance. But we are committed to continuous improvement through training and continuing education. We visit our suppliers regularly to verify system compliance and to benefit from their knowledge.
Supplier selection is based upon ISO, QS, and TS criteria as well as capabilities and expertise. Fasco provides development assistance—typically for smaller subcontractors—to assure that their practices are consistent with our customer’s expectations.
Fasco utilizes PPAP, Control Plans and APQP, as well as other tools to understand requirements and develop a specific quality plan to satisfy them. We emphasize lot control because of the many processes we manage. Containment practices (including high speed vision inspection) are often effective in delivering the quality that is required for automated assembly.
Our quality lab uses precision inspection equipment that is traceable to NIST and is calibrated on a scheduled basis. We use an A2LA-certified independent lab for metallurgy and other specialized services.
