Fasco’s quality lab verifies the conformance of all our product to customer-released drawings, applicable industry standards and specifications. Our experienced team verifies product through in-house dimensional inspection and performance testing, sub-supplier certification review and partnering with external ISO/IEC 17025 accredited labs for critical product testing.
Quality is not confined to our lab. Important functions such as APQP, layered audits, tech reviews, containment and root cause analysis involve cross-functional teams with members from our quality, sales, engineering, purchasing and customer service departments.

Optical (vision) Sorting
With the rise of large-scale recalls and concerns over the quality of fasteners, customers today expect nothing less than 100% quality. While Fasco strives to drive the use of proper statistical tools and other methods to reduce process variability, we also employ optical sorting to enhance the quality of our fasteners. Whether outside processing operations introduce foreign material, or defects result from an abnormality in the manufacturing process, Fasco is dedicated to protecting our customers from defective parts entering their processes.
Our GLASS DIAL sorting machine is optimal for sorting nuts, washers and rods w/ diameters up to M12 at a speed of 400~1,000 parts per minute. Inspection criteria includes dimensional features such as length, width and height, cracks & burrs, presence of threads, plating and locking features such as nylon inserts and adhesive patch.
Our STEEL DIAL sorting machine is optimal for sorting screws and bolts w/ diameters up to M12 at a speed of 300~900 parts per minute. Inspection criteria includes dimensional features such as length, width and height, cracks & burrs, presence of threads, drive/recess and plating.
